IMPACT & PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT
Objectively evaluate the performance of your decisions
A clear view of the actual results of your actions
Measuring impact and performance means transforming each action into proof of value by directly linking the actions taken to economic and operational performance.
Objectify the value created
Measure the economic and social effects of the decisions available in a robust and transparent manner to demonstrate the impact to all stakeholders.
Secure strategic choices
Use econometric modelling and multi-scenario simulation to guide trade-offs, limit risks and strengthen confidence in decisions.
Maximise sustainable performance
Identify the highest-yield levers and the most relevant trajectories to improve profitability and operational efficiency while enhancing the economic,
social and environmental impact on stakeholders.
Communicate more effectively
Support the communication of results with robust indicators
and quantified evidence for a discourse that is more understandable to investors, clients, regulators and citizens.
OUR EXPERTISE
Predictive intelligence and retrospective analysis distinguish between correlation and causation.
By calling on Veltys, you transform impact measurement into a strategic tool. Our quantified analyses and multidimensional projections objectively and quantitatively assess the effects of a decision, policy or project. They reinforce the relevance of your decisions, secure your trade-offs and reveal the most profitable performance levers.
You gain visibility on the real value created, credibility with your stakeholders and resilience in the face of uncertainty. You place your choices on a long-term, competitive and justifiable trajectory.
Impact measurement studies go beyond traditional reporting to analyse the value actually created: financial gains, operational improvements, emissions reductions, social benefits, etc. They reveal a programme’s contribution to profit margins, turnover or process efficiency, and the distribution among stakeholders.
We build a scientific basis to enable you to distinguish between market trends and the specific effects of a decision.
OUR CLIENTS TESTIMONIALS
Giving an association the means to secure its economic model in order to better protect women victims of violence

Context
In 2023, the National Observatory on Violence Against Women recorded 321,000 reported victims in France. But behind this figure lies a much grimmer reality: 80% of women do not report the violence they suffer, suggesting that nearly 1.7 million women are affected. The consequences are dramatic for the victims and also weigh heavily on the community: medical, social, legal and economic costs amounting to several billion pounds each year. However, support mechanisms do exist and can limit these impacts by offering women a secure and structured care pathway. The association supported by Veltys needed to demonstrate, with supporting evidence, that strengthening these measures through increased public funding was a better strategy for society.
Method
Veltys estimated the cost of domestic violence at national and regional level, then assessed the economic benefits of existing measures. The analysis covered all cost items – medical, social, legal and economic – linking them to the costs avoided thanks to the measures taken. The analysis incorporated a regional approach, identifying the most exposed areas. Finally, several scenarios for the allocation of additional public funding were developed, each quantifying the relationship between expenditure incurred, costs avoided and social impact, in order to build a solid and clear case for public decision-makers.
Results
The study estimated the total cost of domestic violence at €4.5 billion for the period 2022-2023. It also showed that every euro invested in strengthening support services generates a measurable economic return. Two scenarios illustrate this reality: territorial reinforcement capable of avoiding €29 million in costs for only €6 million invested, or improved support with three additional full-time equivalents, generating €2.5 million in expenditure. Thanks to these results, the association now has a robust, quantified case for securing its economic model and amplifying its social impact.
Automatically structuring a technical database using AI and image recognition
A major leisure company wants to automate the collection and structuring of technical information about its products in order to optimise its business and develop new offerings.

Context
The client receives technical information from more than 50 suppliers in the form of image documents or scans, covering more than 500 products and around 20 characteristics per product. The lack of consistency between formats makes this information unusable for optimisation projects. The systematic and continuous collection of this data is crucial for developing new uses, improving operational performance and supporting decision-making. The client wanted to implement an automated, proprietary methodology capable of integrating new product information and gradually extending the scope to less priority features.
Method
We have developed an image recognition algorithm to automatically extract technical information from documents sent by suppliers. The approach was designed to consistently process heterogeneous formats and automate the continuous integration of new data. The proprietary algorithm ensures data confidentiality.
Results
The algorithm now automatically collects and structures technical information for all these products, making the data immediately usable for analysis and optimisation projects. The client has a structured, scalable database that facilitates the development of new BUSINESS CASES and continuous improvement in operational performance.
Assessing the impact of a new pricing policy for a funeral services provider

Context
A major funeral services provider in France had defined a new pricing policy aimed at optimising its positioning and maximising its revenue. Before rolling out this strategy on a large scale, the company wanted to test its real impact in a pilot region and compare the results with control regions.
In a sector characterised by strong competitive pressure, the challenge was to accurately measure the effects of the new pricing structure while correcting for biases associated with raw comparisons. The ultimate goal: to secure national roll-out based on reliable, objective results.
Method
Support consisted of assigning the new rates to pilot agencies and automating performance monitoring through key indicators accessible in an interactive tool. The results were analysed by comparison with similar agencies that did not benefit from the new pricing, thus constituting a control group.
Econometric modelling was used to measure the pure impact of the new policy, isolating the specific effects of prices from other external factors such as carry-over effects.
Results
The mission made it possible to measure the overall performance of the new pricing policy and break down its effects by lever: price, volume and conversion. The associated gains were quantified in order to prepare for scaling up and guide national roll-out. The analysis also highlighted the share of revenue directly linked to the price levers activated, giving the group a solid basis for generalising and securing its new pricing strategy.
