The position

As an intern, you will be integrated into young, dynamic and highly qualified teams. You will work on assignments related to strategic issues involving data, supporting consultants. You will work on the entire value chain of an assignment, and you will be required to:

• Collect different types of data and/or perform benchmarks
• Ensure the reliability and harmonisation of complex databases
• Analyse data (from descriptive statistics to the implementation of econometric models)
• Synthesise the results of analyses and participate in the creation of deliverables
• Participate in client meetings and write reports

Upon arrival, you will be mentored by a consultant and a training consultant. You will have the opportunity to apply the methods and techniques you have learned throughout your training in a stimulating, operational environment.

Your profile

You are studying for a Master's degree or equivalent at a prestigious university or college, specialising in statistics, econometrics and/or economics.

Consulting skills:

• You have excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
• You have strong analytical and summarising abilities.
• You are a team player and have good interpersonal skills.
• You want to develop key messages for clients and help them progress thanks to recommendations developed with the project team.

Technical requirements:

• You have a solid grounding in statistics and a good understanding of economic theory (a good grounding in econometrics would be an advantage).
• You are proficient in Python and/or R and data analysis and modelling packages.

Finally, we place great importance on intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm and autonomy.

Our offer

• A 5- to 6-month full-time internship starting in September 2024, based in Paris's 8th arrondissement
• Remuneration:
  • For a gap year internship: €1,300 net
  • For an end-of-studies internship: €1,700 net
• Meal vouchers (‘tickets restaurants’): €10.40 per day worked (approximately €200 per full month)
• 50% of the ‘Pass Navigo’ travel pass covered
• Approximately two days of paid leave per month of attendance
• Internship topics in line with your training and your school's requirements
