UniHA, the hospital purchasers’ cooperative, has awarded the contract for “Consulting and support services for data exploitation” to the French strategy consulting firm Veltys.
This public call for tenders identifies Veltys as a partner for UniHA members, able to intervene at every stage of the data continuum: from strategic issues to operational implementation, from scoping to modelling.
In concrete terms, the firm will work with all departments (finance, human resources, logistics, IT, etc.) as well as with doctors and researchers on all data-related subjects, such as:
– helping to improve the care pathway
– optimising valuation and billing circuits
– support in data transformation
“This is a very exciting perspective for us. Data is a precious resource that benefits both teams and patients as part of the transformation of the sector,” says Florimond Bourdeaux, Co-Manager Healthcare Practice, Veltys.
“We are already working with around fifty healthcare establishments in mainland France and overseas, and we have measured the extent to which, when they are treated appropriately, data topics bring value to hospitals,” adds Arthur Souletie, co-Manager of the Healthcare Practice at Veltys..
Since 2016, Veltys has been supporting Regional Health Agencies and healthcare establishments in improving billing and collection circuits through the data-driven project entitled ORFEH (optimisation of collection and billing in hospitals).
Taking into account socio-demographic characteristics is at the heart of improving billing and reducing non-payment.
